Honorable Chief Distinguished guests, Conference participants, particularly those from abroad,
Ladies and gentlemen,
As the Chairman of the conference, it gives me great pleasure to bid you a very warm welcome to the 4th International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies.
AICT International Conference is honored to be hosted in beautiful and historically rich capital of Uzbekistan: Tashkent.
The objective of the three days Conference is to learn from each other and share knowledge among us and with those experiencing ICT applications in their institutions, companies and countries. We have among us some of the most eminent professionals who have campaigned for the enforcements of ICT implementation in their countries. We thank them for honoring us with their presence.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Application of ICT has become an essential component of economic activity and will assume an even larger role in trade, commerce and education in coming years, deepening its reach; broadening its capability; embracing mobility and changing to further reflect the diversity of users and geographies that it connects. In this era of globalization, where there have been rapid changes in various human aspects as a result of the global acceleration of information, communication, and technology, we really need to be prepared to meet the challenges driven by the global demands. The AICT2010 comes as a response to these challenges.
For the second time this year, AICT is completely on-line. We have successfully managed the preparation of the whole conference with a comprehensive on-line process for abstract and paper submission, conference registration, paper review, and other services. On behalf of the Chairman of AICT Conference I would also like to congratulate members of the Conference Organizing Committee, who have worked tirelessly in the recent months to invite the guest speakers, coordinate the conference program and put together a first-class event.
Finally, I wish all the participants productive participation in the AICT2010 and an enjoyable stay in the beautiful capital city Tashkent. I hope you return next year with even more colleagues for AICT2011 that will be held in hospitable Baku.
